As mentioned previously in the Spanish Rhythm lessons, Arabic guitar Rhythms can be played with a pick. This can be a good alternative sometimes since the pick can give you a stronger sound if your nails are not well grown. You can apply the same techniques of the basic Spanish rhythm and the one with palm muting to be played with a pick. It is preferable that you use a soft guitar pick (.5 or .6 strength) if you are playing on a classical guitar (with nylon strings).
